How IPMA is Organized Minimize

Mission and History
Founded in 1964, the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association is the only professional association dedicated exclusively to the needs of in-house corporate publishing, printing, and distribution professionals. If you provide printing, copying, graphic design, prepress, mailing or distribution services for your organization, this is your
association. It's all about you and what you do every day.

Board of Directors
IPMA's mission and goals are set by its Board of Directors, a group of volunteers elected by the general membership. Each board member is a member of the in-plant industry.

Regional Coordinators
IPMA has appointed six Regional Coordinators to help support membership programs and activities on a regional level.

Chapters
IPMA has local Chapters in select areas which allow members the opportunity to network and to build professional relationships with other in-plants and suppliers in the area.

Committees

IPMA has created a variety of Committees that assist in the management and administration of the association’s programs including awards, certification, and conference committees.

IPMA Staff
IPMA has a full-time
Staff, headquartered in the Kansas City metropolitan area to serve the day-to-day needs of its membership.

Testimonials Minimize
"IPMA provides a network of support, especially locally. Our hydraulic cutter recently died, and (another member) lent us a manual cutter to tide us over until we could purchase another hydraulic cutter. When the new(used) cutter didn't come with a manual, I posted a message on IPMAServ, and within minutes had offers of copies of cutter manuals."

"(An IPMA member college) was getting rid of a plate filing rack and folders, and offered it for free. We expressed an interest, and now have a new-to-us plate file. The day-to-day support offered by IPMA members is invaluable."
