Our vision is to create technology that makes life better for everyone, everywhere — every person, every organization, and every community around the globe. This motivates us — inspires us — to do what we do. To make what we make. To invent, and to reinvent. To engineer experiences that amaze. We won’t stop pushing ahead, because you won’t stop pushing ahead.
You’re reinventing how you work. How you play. How you live. With our technology, you’ll reinvent your world. This is our calling. This is a new HP. Keep reinventing.
The original HP was established in 1939, but it was reinvented just a couple years ago [NOV 1, 2015]. The decision to create two new, independent businesses – HP Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise – was driven by the recognition that smaller, leaner, more highly focused companies would better be able to compete in a challenging, rapidly changing global economy.
At HP Inc. we’re already seeing the benefits from separation. We’re now able to invest in our business, operate with greater speed and agility, increase R&D and innovation and focus solely on the printing and personal systems businesses, including new growth market like 3-D printing and Textiles.
We’re reinventing printing, personal systems, and the solutions that will drive growth and transform industries. As a standalone company, we can respond faster to the evolving needs of customers who are increasingly mobile, concerned about network and data security, and committed to cost and energy.
