Keynote Topic: Leading Transformation in the In-Plant Era

As the role of in-plants evolves amid rapid technological advancement and shifting market dynamics, transformation isn’t just an option—it’s essential. In this thought-provoking keynote, Frank Mallozzi, a distinguished executive with over three decades of experience across leading imaging technology and digital print manufacturers, will explore where the true value and growth opportunities in print are emerging—especially for in-plant operations. Drawing from a career that has consistently driven revenue, expanded new digital markets, and elevated customer satisfaction, Frank will share strategic insights on how in-plants can position themselves as indispensable assets to their parent organizations. He’ll examine how digital production print technologies are reshaping traditional workflows and how in-plants can capitalize on this momentum to deliver more personalized, sustainable, print solutions.

Frank will also tackle key challenges such as global tariffs and their impact on manufacturers and in-plant providers, offering guidance on how to navigate these pressures while maintaining competitiveness. Beyond business strategy, Frank will share his passion for developing future leaders, highlighting his work with institutions like Cal Poly’s Graphic Communication program and the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation. His message: sustainable growth in our industry depends not only on innovation—but on investing in people.
