Chris Anderson, CGCM, Deseret Mutual Benefit Administration, Print & Production Mail Foreman. I now have over 30 years of experience in the graphic arts and printing industry, most of this at Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators in Salt Lake City, Utah, where my responsibilities include all printing and production mail output.
I am a proud and active member of IPMA since 1996. I attended my first IPMA National Conference in 1999, and have only missed a couple since then. I began volunteering at a local level for the IPMA Utah Chapter where I served as Chapter Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President and Chapter President from 2010-2011. In 2008, I volunteered as an In-Print Judge, which soon turned into the position of Awards Chairman where I served for 5 years. In 2013, I was very proud to earn my CGCM certification, and become a member of the Franklin Stamp and Ink Society.
I am married with 6 children, 3 grandchildren and too many dogs. My wife Alisa has attended many IPMA conferences with me. (The first one in New York was a killer…) I enjoy art, photography, reading, baseball, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, lion taming, nude sky diving, basket weaving, beat gardening… and all other outdoor sports and activities and stuff…some of which may not be true. When I am not working, I am usually still working.
