In-Plant of the Year – The Church of Scientology
Purpose: Recognizes an entire in-plant business for outstanding performance. Whether the in-plant is a combination of print and mail, print only or mail only, all members are eligible. While contributions of individual managers are important, this award judges and recognizes the efforts of the entire in-house staff.

Challenged by the Church Board to reduce real-world costs of printing and mailing an award winning personalized magazine that is a core product for their business. Through 2024 the Print team researched best practices from other in-plants facing similar challenges, technology, mailing rates and practices for multiple areas of the globe. The solution produced a new and innovative method for production of the magazines and an overall reduction in the mailing cost by 42% with a high number of 70% postage rate savings in several countries.
In-House Promotional Excellence Award – Tennessee Department of General Services
Purpose: Recognizes excellence in promotional vehicles and/or campaigns developed by and used to promote an organizations in-house printing or mailing facility.

Executed a picture perfect in-house promotional open house that showcased the available capabilities and services. They developed a theme for the day and maintained consistency using that theme across the promotional materials, booths, and tour. Coordination for the event involved all members of the team as well. Outcomes included a very nice personalized take-away guidebook, guest feedback, and data for engaging clients through follow-up communications.
Innovation Award – Mayo Clinic
Recognizes an organization that has shown creative and innovative ways to improve a process or business model. Innovation may be technology, customer or process-driven.

Developed a streamlined solution for knowledge dissemination that advanced the parent organization’s ability to provide better service which directly impacted end users. The award proposal was also impressive because they were able to condense the explanation of such a massive coordination project into only 2 very easy to understand pages. Overall outcomes included an additional 75 hours of time rededicated to patient care for nurses, flexibility in communication channels and patient preference for receiving important medical information, a high degree of personalization, and the ability to continuously update the educational materials.

Jennifer Chambers, Assistant to the Executive Director IPMA

Jennifer Chambers started with IPMA in February of 2015. She is the Assistant to the Director. She assists & supports the Executive Director, Mike Loyd & the IPMA Board of Directors, anywhere necessary. Responsibilities include IPMA accounting, human resources, coordination of onsite events & administration department.
Jennifer has been married to her husband, Robbie Chambers, since 1985 & has lived in Kearney, MO since 1983. They have two sons, Marshal & Toby. Marshal is married to Sammie & together have two beautiful granddaughters, Teagan & Tatum & a grandson, Tucker. Jennifer is a member of Northern Hills Baptist Church in Holt, MO, and plays conga drums with their amazing praise team. She also enjoys sewing, needlepoint & gardening.

Nate Riggins, Graphic & Production Supervisor, EMC Insurance

With over 15 years of experience in the printing industry, Nate has developed comprehensive expertise in transforming creative concepts into tangible, high-quality outcomes. For the past 11 years, he has served as the Print & Graphic Resources Supervisor at EMC Insurance, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company’s in-plant. His leadership ensures efficiency, quality, and innovation in print production, helping deliver impactful visual communication solutions.
Combined with a degree in Graphic Design, Nate possesses a strong foundation in visual communication and design principles. His work as an award-winning landscape and wildlife photographer further exemplifies his artistic versatility and commitment to capturing the natural world’s beauty.
Nate’s photography has been recognized in prestigious contests and displayed in exhibitions worldwide, earning him widespread acclaim. His keen eye for nature’s beauty and his ability to capture breathtaking moments in the wild set him apart in the field. With a talent for storytelling through imagery, Nate’s work showcases artistry, technical excellence, and a deep appreciation for the environment. Katelin Shanks, the Senior Account Executive at Racami, partners with print and mail organizations—including in-plants, service bureaus, commercial printers, and direct mailers—to design and implement strategic digital roadmaps. With a background in web development, IT infrastructure, and cloud computing, she brings deep technical expertise to the evolving needs of the print industry. Passionate about strategic planning and highly collaborative by nature, she is committed to guiding clients through impactful, tech-driven growth. Based in sunny San Diego, she also hosts Printfluencers, a podcast that brings fresh perspective and bold voices to the world of print and mail.
