Adding, changing, or upgrading printers or solutions that use software in your shop can necessitate working with your IT and security departments. You know security is important, but what do you need knowledge of and to consider to be sure you make informed choices that meet internal policies? In this session we’ll offer examples, a framework, and a checklist to keep your shop secure and make your security team happy.
Alan Wood is the Director of Information Security and Sr. Solutions Architect for Rochester Software Associates, Inc. (RSA). As the Director of Information Security, Alan oversees RSA’s corporate Information Security team, whose primary function is to develop, deploy and manage the firm’s corporate and application security strategy, and respond to customer/prospect security surveys and incidents. Wood works directly with customers and RSA partners to architect and deploy RSA systems to meet or exceed rigorous customer and industry standards in highly secure environments like Fortune 500, financial and government entities. Alan also consults externally, advising companies on best practices to “close the gap” after a breach.
