Dieter Finna, printing engineer, provides first submissions

The Graphic Communication Advisors Group—GCAG (https://hrlevenson.wixsite.com/gcag) is now publishing papers submitted by visiting authors.

The first two submissions are from Mr. Dieter Finna, a printing engineer with a broad expertise in the label printing and packaging industry. In his many years at Flint Group, Finna held various positions in the printing plate and ink business. He founded pack.consult in 2016, a platform for content marketing and packaging printing consulting: www.pack-consult.org (For English, click on upper right button).

Mr. Finna’s articles are titled: “Digital printing becomes cool for the next generation”—A perspective to give the job description »printer« new attractiveness.

Harvey Levenson, Cal Poly Emeritus Professor and GCAG coordinator, said, “Papers from esteemed industry experts worldwide is an amazing new GCAG service. It brings relevant information about current issues and concerns of our industry. Mr. Finna’s papers address the need to attract young people to our industry and to recognize developments and opportunities in packaging, one of the few growing industry segments of our field. Mr. Finna’s insights help to understand and address these issues.”

Members of the press and other industry associations are invited to reprint and/or distribute Mr. Finna’s papers. Anyone else wishing to submit a paper for GCAG publishing is invited to do so.
