Kearney, MO – The In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) is thrilled to announce the State of Colorado- IDS has received IPMA’s 2019 Innovation Award. They will be honored at the Awards Banquet during the IPMA Educational Conference, June 2-6, 2019, in Louisville, KY.
“The IPMA Innovation Award is one of the most prestigious and coveted awards at the IPMA Conference and IDS is honored to have one of our programs recognized at this level. This national recognition for the Integrated Document Solutions (IDS) Secure Office Print Ecosystem (SOPE) at the State of Colorado provides validation that our program is more than just a copier program. The State of Colorado IDS in-plant has rebuilt the program to provide value across many verticals in terms of IT security, print governance, proactive services, digital service offerings, and cost savings.
IDS SOPE started this effort in 2011, with the goal of making Colorado more secure, efficient, and cost effective around office print, and for my primary technology partners, Brenda Berlin, Deputy Chief Information Officer and Trace Ridpath, Director of Security Governance at the Governor’s Office of Information Technology and I, collectively we could not be happier or more proud. Brenda, Trace, and I are honored and humbled to have been selected to receive this award and we look forward to accepting it on the behalf of all our partners, customers, and the State of Colorado,” said Teddy Abad-Perez – State of Colorado.
