The only printing contest exclusively for in-plants from all industry segments.
June 11, 2025
Kearney, MO – The In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) is thrilled to announce the In-Print® 2025 Best of Division and Best of Show winners. The contest, co-sponsored by IPMA and In-plant Impressions, culminated in a gala evening of award presentations at IPMA’s 2025 Annual Conference in Spokane, Washington.
To select the Best of Show winner, the judges first chose the best piece from among the Gold winners in each of the four divisions: Offset, Open Digital Division, Small Shops Digital Division, and Wide Format/Specialty. Those four “Best of Division” winners were then analyzed, and the judges chose a single Best of Show winner.
“This was the first time since 2009 that we’ve had just one Best of Show winner in the In-Print contest,” says Bob Neubauer, editor of In-plant Impressions, which partners with IPMA on the In-Print contest.”Previously, the offset and digital categories each had a Best of Show winner. But digital printing quality has improved so much that it’s difficult to tell the difference. It was a very tough decision this year since all of the finalists showed outstanding quality, workmanship and a high level of difficulty.”
“Congratulations to our first ever Divisional winners and overall Best of Show champion – The University of Texas-Austin! Each piece was unique and displayed an acute attention to detail that certainly deserves to be celebrated. The quality of each piece was so good that it took a lengthy discussion by the judges to determine one single champion. In the end, the Offset Divisional winner from the University of Texas-Austin stood above the rest with its absolutely flawless craftsmanship. Everyone working at that shop should be supremely proud of what they have accomplished. Thank you again to ALL of the in-plants that submitted entries this year. I can’t wait to see the amazing entries at next year’s competition,” said Wes Troup, IPMA Awards Committee Chair.
