Meet Ambassador Erica Dee

You are here: Home / Blog / Meet Ambassador Erica Dee

June 17, 2026 By JGC

Erica Dee is the Publishing Center Coordinator at Lockheed Martin. She’s also one of the IPMA Ambassadors – the program dedicated to fostering connections with current members – and professionals who aren’t IPMA members yet.

After graduating from Rogers State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, Erica held a variety of positions in the print industry. From photography, to typesetting, to proofing, Erica’s professional and personal path led her from Oklahoma to Florida. And to Lockheed Martin in 2019.

In her current role, Erica helps coordinate jobs from customer requests through delivery. She asks and answers questions about artwork, print and finishing requirements. She’s also a project manager for jobs destined for the newly acquired flatbed printer. As this is a new area for the in-plant, Erica is responsible for quoting jobs and obtaining the materials and substrates for the orders.

Part of starting work at Lockheed Martin included becoming a member of IPMA. From the beginning, Erica appreciated the collaborative environment of IPMA. Members understand the challenges facing other in-plants. That brings opportunities to get help – and help others.

This atmosphere of mutual assistance is fostered by networking. That includes members and vendors. Through IPMA, Erica has been able to build relationships with multiple vendors. That includes vendors she works with today, as well as vendors she may need in the future.

The annual conference has been especially valuable to Erica. While webinars and Shop Talk sessions are wonderful, nothing replaces the in-person event. Seeing everyone and hearing their stories face-to-face is irreplaceable. Also, at the Awards Reception, attendees have the opportunity to actually look and touch the innovative and excellent work from fellow-in-plants.

Erica became an IPMA Ambassador because she believes in IPMA and its mission. The support from the national organization creates a community for members to help each other. Peers don’t want to see other in-house professionals struggle. A cooperative atmosphere encourages people to reach out and provide guidance and support.

As an IPMA Ambassador, Erica wants to help people cultivate relationships. Through connections with similar in-plants, or in-plants that support the same industry, managers can share common situations. And together, share common solutions to overcoming challenges.

Be sure to introduce yourself to Erica and the other Ambassadors at the IPMA 2026 Educational Conference.

See you in Greenville!
